RISING STAR: LULAMA WOLF

She is by far one of my favourite local fashionistas and was named one of City Press Trending’s Top 10 Internet Breakout Stars in 2015. Lulama Wolf, famously known for her personal style and her curated Instagram account has become one of the continent’s notable creative documenters, sharing her personal style, fashion trends and artistic influences. I’ve never hidden the fact that I find Lulama insanely beautiful, but it is her signature bo-ho chic style, paired with her minimalistic aura that is even more fascinating.

Lulama’s work continues to pull in brands such as adidas, Woolworths and Superbalist. But it is her Exclamation Body Spray campaign by Coty for Women that made me realise that she is no ordinary stylista. Her style is quite versatile as evident in her Exclamation ads, where she goes from Queen, Tomboy, Dollface, Afropop, Romantic, Rebel while slaying all the looks, effortlessly. I can predict that 2017 is going to see a lot more collaborations between Lulama and brands and her star will continue to rise and reach new frontiers.
