NOMZAMO HEADS UP L’ORÉAL PARIS’ NEW CAMPAIGN
“You don’t go natural, you return to it”. This was the motto on Tuesday, the 4th of July, as the Fine Living by David Muirhead boutique function venue in Sandton bustled with flower crowns on naturally-curly/afro mane beauties gathered together for the L’Oreal Paris SA #CurlPride event, for the brand’s new Afro-specific hair care range launch and brand advocate reveal. Tailored to curly and afro hair, the range is made up of a Low Shampoo Cleansing Cream, Oil-in-Balm Nourishing Leave-In and Curl Nourishment Masque, enriched with Amla oil and 6 precious floral extracts oils that are beneficial for African hair.
In a series of live tweets about the event on the day, @L’orealParisSA tweeted: “We are so excited to be announcing our NEW brand advocate and lorealista #curlpride”, in what I can confidently deem as one of the most fitting brand partnerships, the French cosmetics giant revealed the dazzling Nomzamo Mbatha as the brand advocate for the range. She joins a bevy of A-Listers like Aishwarya Rai, Barbara Palvin, Liya Kebede, Doutzen Kroes who are part of the L’oreal family.
