BOITY GIVES OWNING YOUR THRONE A NEW MEANING THIS WOMEN’S MONTH
We all know what owning your throne entails, but Boity has given the phrase new meaning this month. The celebrity who is known for sharing the motivational phrase, #OwnYourThrone across her social media platforms has been making power moves that more than affirm her mantra. Alongside a successful run as a Sissy Boy brand ambassador, Boity’s BXSB collection recently unveiled its pieces, encapsulating figure hugging numbers that promise to do nothing but accentuate one’s curves, all in different shades of blush pink. This is by far the best collection from the three-year collaboration between the media personality and Sissy Boy. The pieces are fresh, stylish, fun, sexy with a chic twist, with the best part being the fact that each and every piece is reflective of Boity’s style.
In a move that has shocked many in the industry, the actress-turned-entrepreneur and fitness ambassador also announced that she will be adding to her already packed resume. Boity is on her way to becoming one of the hottest rappers to hit the Mzansi shores, that’s if she has her way. Having seen how Boity’s positive attitude and self-affirming posts have impacted her career, I don’t doubt that her debut single will surpass her wildest dreams, much like everything else in her life.
Most recently, Boity opened up to Cosmopolitan SA about yet another venture, which sees her launch her own fragrance line with Impulse. “They approached me to help ‘re-create’ the brand. They felt I was the perfect person to introduce this strong girl and the idea of sisterhood. The Impulse girl used to be shy and timid – now she is strong. She owns her throne. They felt I could help tell that story. We’ve re-worked the brand, from the scent to what the bottle looks like. I painted, I came up with bottle ideas, I spent time learning about my palate and mixing three scents together… I’m so excited about it!”
In addition to her Impulse deal, Boity is currently serving as a judge on MTV’s VJ Search competition, while playing cover girl duties for the September Issue of Cosmopolitan SA. This is exactly the type of content Boity’s close to 5 million social media fans signed up for.
