HERE’S TO A BRIGHT AND BOLD WINTER

I have always been one to default to the more neutral tones for winter. Let me not lie lipstick shades with a neutral undertone have always been my go-to, whether it’s going to work, work events, or date nights throughout all seasons. I’m the least experimental consumer imaginable. As a result, my lipstick collection is not the most versatile in shades and finishes. Since I’m on this explorative journey this year, being bold and vibrant in my lipstick choices this winter is on my to-do list.

There is something ethereal about the idea of colour to brighten up dull winter days and gloomy winter nights. Naturally, I associate winter with layering and comfort, which often means I veer away from boldness and sexiness. As such, adding a touch of red to my winter looks will enforce that alluring, captivating, and bold aura, which is a plus during the season. Bring it on winter.
